My name is Iain and I am the proud owner of NoMad Cycles. I’ve been cycling ever since my parents took off the stabilisers and have had a keen interest in them ever since. Initially NoMad Cycles was created to help my son with his competition racing and we ventured into it together, he’s grown up now and flew past me with his speed, occasional he gets his hands dirty servicing bikes but I’ve continued with our passion and I feel it is time to grow the business. I’m not a huge warehouse or try to sell you anything you don’t need, I work from my home where I conduct the majority of the repairs, alternatively I offer a collect/mobile service where I come to you and do what I can and if required will bring the bike back to my garage to complete the works. I provide dedicated time listening to your needs, wishes and wants from your bike and then focus my efforts to making these happen. I aim to get your bike back as near as possible to its original form allowing you peace of mind to enjoy the outdoors.

The services I can offer are endless, my priority is to dedicate my time and efforts into restoring your bike back to its best. I aim to offer an array of services however from feedback my biggest asset is that I listen to your needs and recommend options available and then provide my best service irrespective of the bike.

• Full bike service (includes dedicated time to your bike and needs, safety inspection, transmission check, wheel truing, greasing necessary parts and ultrasonic clean)
• Children’s bikes (includes as above with an emphasis on safety check)
• Advice on upgrades and repairs
• Brake bleeding
• Teaching service (understanding basic elements of the bike and self-repairs for example puncture repairs you can do at home)

All work is backed by my 30 days warranty.

From experience I’ve had bikes delivered and clients have expressed a wish to have something simple repaired such as a puncture, for these I offer teaching services where I will you the advice on completing such tasks. I’ve had children’s bikes delivered for repair and what may seem a minor job to the client may result in more significant repairs, kids are precious and therefore their bikes receive the same level of service as competition road bikes.
